Kigali Infrastructure Project
As Green Hills Academy boarded on a comprehensive multi-stage expansion to accommodate its expanding student population and accuracy, quality, and efficiency were the most important priorities. The project required experienced craftsmen who could deliver high-spec finishes, operate within tight educational timelines, and sequence through various subcontractors. Resilience Professionals Ltd was engaged as the preferred labor subcontractor, supplying certified construction personnel for both Phase I (now completed) and Phase II (currently in construction) of the school's expansion.

Incredible Result
As a labor subcontractor, we were responsible for supplying end-to-end construction labor, with a particular focus on structural work, finishes, and services coordination.
Workforce & Contributions
Masons and block layers for classroom structures
Finishers and painters for detailed educational interiors
Electrical assistants and plumbing support for classroom and lab fittings
General laborers for site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
Post-construction cleaning crews for handover readiness
Challenges & Solutions
Working on an Active School Campus: Workers were trained in quiet zone protocols, child-safety awareness, and restricted-area compliance to ensure zero disruption to learning during ongoing works.
Strict Delivery Timelines Before School Terms: We used a phased labor deployment model aligned with the academic calendar to ensure critical areas were ready before term starts, with flexible weekend shifts where needed.
High-Quality Finishing Standards: Only pre-screened finishing workers with prior school or hospitality project experience were deployed. Supervisors conducted quality checks alongside the contractor's site team.
Results & Impact
Supplied over 70 workers across both phases of the project
Delivered finished blocks on time for the start of academic sessions
Maintained 99% workforce availability throughout construction
Enabled Phase II continuity by retaining trained workers from Phase I
Achieved zero safety incidents, critical in a child-sensitive environment
